Buy Raw Honey in Newcastle, New South Wales
Newcastle does beach mornings, strong coffee, and a decent bakery run. Desert honey works there because it has enough flavour to survive buttered sourdough and salt air.

Why Newcastle locals order from us
Locals like that it tastes like something real, even beside strong coffee and good bread.
Good on breakfast, and just as useful in a quick glaze when fish, chicken, or roast veg needs something better than sugar.
The $9.99 taster is the easy start, the 400g jar is the workhorse, and free shipping kicks in once you hit $50.

About This Batch
Traversing 2,026km South-East from the Red Centre to reach you. Bit of a trek, but the jar does not care. It's tracked for Newcastle. Straight from our shed, no middlemen, no blending. Same jar, same bees, just a longer drive to get it to you.
Our bees forage off Desert Bloodwood and River Red Gum around Alice Springs. Tough natives that cop 45°C summers and months without rain. You can taste the difference.
Shipping to Newcastle, New South Wales usually hits 3-6 business days (Zone: National). Whether you want the stronger Desert Bloodwood, the smoother River Red Gum, or raw honeycomb, we'll sort you out in Newcastle.
We don't heat-treat our honey. It's cold extracted, so all the enzymes and good stuff stays right where the bees put it.

What people in Newcastle and beyond reckon
From recent orders around Australia. Different kitchens, same jar.
"Bought two big jars. Bloodwood's got a bit of weight to it, which I like. Not the honey for people who want mild, and that's exactly why I reordered."
Zina O.
Sydney, NSW
"Put it in chai instead of sugar. Completely different drink. Richer, warmer. Won't go back to the plastic bear bottle."
Priya S.
Newcastle, NSW
"Ordered the 6-pack for Christmas presents. Had to reorder because I kept opening them 'just to check the quality'. Quality was fine. Every time."

Questions from Newcastle
Shipping, jars, and the usual things people in Newcastle ask us.
Zone: National. Orders to Newcastle usually land in 3-7 business days from Alice Springs. Shipping is free over $50, otherwise it is a flat $8.50.
Start with the 150g taster for $9.99 if you just want a crack. The 400g jar is $24.99 and makes the most sense for everyday use. The 6-pack is $59.00 if you are sorting gifts or sharing. Honeycomb is $17.99 when it is in stock.
River Red Gum is the smoother option for yoghurt, banana bread, and lighter cooking. Bloodwood is better when you want a darker glaze or a harder hit on toast.
"Pure" and "natural" are marketing words — they only mean no added sugar, so the honey can still be heated and filtered to death. Raw means it skipped all that. Ours goes straight from the hive into the jar, unheated and unfiltered, so the enzymes and pollen that make honey worth eating are still in there.
Not certified — honest answer is nobody's honey really can be, because bees fly wherever they want. But our hives sit in remote desert country outside Alice Springs, a long way from farms and sprays. The bees work wild Desert Bloodwood and River Red Gum, which is about as close to organic as honey gets.
Manuka is graded and priced for its antibacterial rating, and a lot of what's on shelves in Newcastle barely has one. Ours is a table honey — bold, mineral-rich and meant to be eaten, not kept in the medicine cabinet. If you're after flavour instead of an MGO number, desert honey wins on value every time.
