Ordering and paying

Check your name and address at checkout. We post to whatever you enter. Payments go through Stripe. Your order is confirmed once payment goes through and you get the confirmation email. If we can't fill an order (a batch sold out faster than the website caught up, say), we'll tell you and refund you in full.

Pre-order and "register interest" forms for honeycomb, queen bees and pollen aren't orders. We'll be in touch when there's stock, and you pay then.

Prices, shipping and free shipping

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Standard shipping is $10 per order. It's free when your order is $49 or more before any discount, and always free on products marked "ships free".

We post to NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, TAS, NT and the ACT. We post orders within 48 hours, then Australia Post usually takes 2-6 business days depending on where you are. We'll email you the tracking number once it's posted. Australia Post: hopeless, but they're all we've got out here. You'll get tracking, so you can watch your jar get dragged from one end of the country to the other. Once it's with them, delivery times are up to them, but if a parcel goes missing we'll chase it up or send a replacement.

Rain Day pricing

When it's raining in Alice Springs, everything is 10% off. We check the current weather for Alice Springs when you click checkout, using public weather data. If it's raining then, the discount comes off at checkout automatically. It can't be applied to past orders or claimed after the rain stops, and if the weather data isn't available, checkout goes ahead at normal prices.

What's in the box

Honey is raw, so colour, flavour and thickness change from batch to batch, and it will crystallise over time. That's normal, not a fault. The 6-pack is filled from whatever we've got flowing at the time, so it's usually Desert Collection and may include a Finke River jar. Batches are small, and once one's gone, it's gone.

Don't give honey to babies under 12 months old. That goes for all honey, not just ours.

If something goes wrong

You've got rights under Australian Consumer Law that we can't exclude and wouldn't want to. If your honey arrives broken, isn't what you ordered, or there's something genuinely wrong with it, email us with your order details and a photo and we'll replace it or refund you. Opened or not.

Changed your mind? Fair enough. Send back unopened jars within 14 days of delivery and we'll refund the product price. You cover the postage back to us.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those rights, we're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for delays caused by things outside our control, like couriers, floods or the website being down.
