Six 150g jars in one box. Keep one out for the kitchen, stash the rest, hand a couple out as gifts. One shipping run, never run out.

Same honey, smaller jar. Perfect for trying or gifting. Just so you know - once you taste this, regular honey will disappoint.

Raw honeycomb straight from the hive. No processing, no spinning - just wax, honey, and whatever the bees decided to include. Back later this year.

Bred tough in Alice Springs conditions. These queens handle 45°C summers and freezing winters - conditions that would kill most southern queens.

Pollen from whatever's flowering out here in the scrub. We collect it when we can - desert plants don't bloom on your schedule, they bloom when they bloody well feel like it after a bit of rain. Seasonal stuff, so don't expect it year-round. Contact us if you want some.

What makes it outback
Our hives sit 1,500km from the nearest coast. Desert-hardened trees, isolated from broadacre farming and the spray that goes with it.
Two trees that only flower out here. The honey reflects the country — you can taste where it came from.
We don't heat it and we don't filter the pollen out. Enzymes and flavour stay where they belong.
Outback vs supermarket
Most jars on the shelf have been blended, heated and stripped before they ever got to you. Real outback honey looks, sets, and tastes different from batch to batch — that's the point.
Two varieties
The bold one. Darker amber, rich and complex — a hit of caramel with a dry eucalyptus finish. Bloodwood only flowers in the arid interior, so this honey doesn't exist anywhere else.
About Desert Bloodwood honey →The lighter one. Golden, clean, smooth — mellow sweetness with a gentle eucalyptus note. Red Gums line the dry riverbeds and flower when the water table rises.
About River Red Gum honey →Common questions
Honey from bees foraging in the arid Australian interior — far from farms and spray. Ours comes from hives around Alice Springs, where Desert Bloodwood and River Red Gum produce a flavour you won't find on the coast.
Most supermarket honey is blended, heated past 70°C, and ultra-filtered. Ours is single-origin, bottled cold, and unfiltered — so the enzymes, pollen and flavour stay intact.
Every state and territory except WA. Usually 2–7 business days depending where you are. Free shipping on 400g jars and above.
