The Whole Raw Food
When you buy a jar of honey - even raw honey - you're getting the liquid gold but missing the house that held it. Honeycomb is the whole package: raw honey sealed in airtight wax cells, exactly as the bees left it.
Desert honeycomb carries whatever the bees were working when it was built - mostly River Red Gum, a thread of eucalyptus, and a clean finish. The wax is delicate and crisp. On a cheese board, it stops conversations.

Probably not in the shops - most of what's sold as honeycomb is a small chunk floating in a jar of runny honey. We cut whole 200g blocks straight from the frame and post them from Alice Springs to your door, so near you is wherever your letterbox is.

Yes. The honeycomb is edible including the beeswax cells. Most people chew the wax to release the honey and then swallow or discard the wax. The wax itself is harmless.
