About This Batch
What the bees built, that's what you get. We cut it straight from the frames and we hauled South-East 2,465km to Hobart. Nothing added, nothing removed. Yeah, you eat the wax too - chew it like a lolly, spread it on toast, whatever you like.
Our bees work in brutal conditions - 47°C days and months without rain. The comb comes out dense and waxy. It tastes nothing like the supermarket stuff. Same jar, same bees, just a longer drive to get it to you.
Shipping to Hobart, Tasmania usually takes 2-6 business days. We pack it properly so it gets to you in Hobart in one piece - no crushed comb on our watch.

What people in Hobart and beyond reckon
From recent orders around Australia. Different kitchens, same jar.
"Tassie cold set it firm, which was expected. Sat it in warm water and it came good. Very good with sourdough and sharp cheddar."
Maciej M.
Hobart, TAS
"My dad's a honey snob. Gave him a jar without telling him where it was from. He rang me the next day asking for more. That never happens."
Karen W.
Ballarat, VIC
"I'm local. If I wanted bland supermarket honey, I'd buy bland supermarket honey. This stuff's darker, stronger, and better on hot toast."
Peter L.

Spend $49 and we'll cover the freight to Hobart. Under that, it's a flat $10 anywhere in Australia.
Yeah, we ship to Hobart, Tasmania (7000). Orders usually land within 2-6 business days from Alice Springs. We don't ship to Western Australia because of quarantine restrictions.
Yeah. It is cut from the frame and packed without heating or fine filtering. Natural crystallisation can still happen over time.
Yeah, eat the lot - that's half the fun. It's just beeswax. Chew it, spread it on toast, chuck it on a cheese board. Some people spit the wax out after chewing but honestly most of ours just eat it.
Cupboard's fine. Don't stick it in the fridge or it'll go rock hard and lose that nice chewiness. Sealed container, room temp, and it'll keep for ages.
