Desert Collection Honeycomb
Honeycomb straight from the hive. No processing, no spinning, no messing about. Just wax, honey, and whatever the desert bees decided was important enough to include.
This is exactly what comes out of the hive around Alice Springs. You get chewable wax, liquid honey, and sometimes a bit of pollen or propolis if the bees felt like it. We don't decide what goes in - the bees do. We just harvest it and put it in a box.
If you're looking for perfect uniform honeycomb from a factory, this isn't for you. If you want real honeycomb made by survivor bees in one of Australia's harshest environments, you're in the right place.

Real Honeycomb from Real Bees
Honeycomb is exactly what bees make when humans don't interfere. Our desert bees build their comb in 47°C heat and dust storms that would make most bees give up and fly away. The result is something tougher and more concentrated than honeycomb from gentle places.
You can eat the wax if you want - it's perfectly edible though some people chew it like gum and spit it out. The honey inside has been aged exactly as long as the bees decided it should be aged, not according to some factory schedule. Each piece looks different because each piece was made by different bees on different days from different flowers. That's how real honeycomb works.
Sometimes you get pure honey cells. Sometimes there's pollen mixed in. Sometimes the bees added propolis because they felt like it. Whatever you get, that's what the bees decided belonged in there. We don't argue with desert bees.
